Pastoral Biographies

Senior Pastor, Michael J. Ealey

Pastor Mike is the founder and Senior Pastor of Prevailing In Christ Ministries. He attended Grambling University, Fullerton Bible College and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Theology from the Long Beach Bible Institute. He has also studied Theology at Oxford University in London, England. Pastor Mike is passionate about building a healthy body of prevailing believers, teaching them how to prevail in Christ.

Throughout Pastor Mike’s twenty years of pastoral ministry, he has served as a conference leader for seminars and conferences on a variety of topics, including Christian Leadership, Community Building, Singles Ministry, Married Couples Ministry, and Youth Ministry. He is widely known as an anointed preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a proven track record as a servant and visionary leader. Pastor Mike currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Prevailing In Christ Ministries.

Assistant Pastor, Joseph A. Dalton

Pastor Joe attended Southern California Bible College, Grace Theological Seminary and Long Beach Bible Institute to further his knowledge and wisdom in the Word of God. He received an Honorary Doctor in Theology from Christ in the Answer Bible University located in Miami, Florida.

Pastor Joe graduated from Savannah University in Savannah, Georgia with a major in Accounting and minor in Economics. He also graduated from the Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, R.I., and was promoted to the rank of Captain in United States Naval Reserve. He is a powerful preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and enjoys teaching and making disciples. Pastor Joe serves as the Assistant Pastor at Prevailing In Christ Ministries.

Associate Pastor, Juanita S. Matthews

Pastor Juanita attended Lane College, in Jackson, Tennessee, Grace Theological Institute, California State University, Long Beach, Southern California Community Bible College, and Long Beach Bible College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies.

For the past twenty years, Pastor Juanita has served the Body of Christ through preaching, teaching, music ministry, counseling, conducting workshops, seminars, conferences, and pastoral care ministry. She enjoys serving and helping people, seeing their lives changed by the awesome power of God’s Love. She is an anointed instrument in the hand of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Juanita is a wife, mother and grandmother.

Pastor Juanita has released a book entitled, “Up from the Valley of Grief.” This book provides practical insights into pathways of healing and restoration. She serves the Body of Christ and the community at large as a Grief-Care Specialist. Pastor Juanita is the Associate Pastor at Prevailing In Christ Ministries.
